It's a prime time to expose the Bear Hands sound to the masses and there is no better way to start than with “What A Drag”, their debut US single. The band, consisting of Dylan Rau, Ted Feldman, Val Loper and TJ Orscher, showcase a raw energy on the track bringing together a tribal, stomping drum beat, reverb heavy guitars, driving bass and a soulful falsetto. The single also features a dreamy remix by Cale Parks.

Even as they’re finishing up their debut full length album, Bear Hands will be promoting “What A Drag” along with songs from their upcoming debut full-length across the US nationwide this February leading up through SXSW. Bear Hands are by no means strangers to the road, (they’ve toured and shared the stage with MGMT, Vampire Weekend, Passion Pit, and Ra Ra Riot to name a few), and have played in front of thousands at festivals such as Reading, Leads, Siren and Rockness.

"What a Drag" was pegged by the Sunday Times and numerous others as “Hottest Downloads” and “Instant Classic” receiving airplay on both BBC and Radio1 & NME Radio A Listed, and now its time for their fellow Americans to see what the fuss is about.
