In somewhat of a surprise move, the legendary Sir Paul McCartney has asked MGMT to fill the support slot for his upcoming shows in Boston. This news follows his much-hyped statement about a possible collaboration with the rocker duo.
“I like MGMT,” he told the Zoe Griffin blog. “I’d like to work on some more dancey stuff with MGMT. But it has to happen organically." The two groups will be playing together at Fenway Park August 5 and 6.
